Morgan is a seasoned communications leader with over a decade of experience spanning journalism, strategic communications, and crisis management. Known for his ability to deliver results in high-stakes situations, Morgan has successfully navigated complex mandates at the intersection of media, politics, and business. His expertise lies in shaping narratives, managing reputational risks, and driving strategic messaging to meet organizational goals. Morgan began his career at CTV News, where he honed his storytelling skills and developed a deep understanding of the media landscape. He left journalism to work in consulting, holding senior roles at Navigator and Provident Communications. Most recently, Morgan served as Vice President, Global Communications at a multinational, publicly traded technology company before co-founding Sovereign.

He most recently served as the Chief Communications Officer at Dye & Durham Corporation, a leading global legal tech company. Prior to that, he was founder and managing partner at Provident Communications Inc., an award-winning strategic communications and public relations firm based in Toronto. Before that, he served in a variety of progressively senior corporate communications and public relations leadership roles at Manulife Financial Corp., Royal Bank of Canada and TD Bank Group. Wojtek also has an extensive background in daily business journalism, having served in reporting and editing roles at Thomson Reuters, the National Post and The Canadian Press.

Most recently, Sharan led the crisis communications and issues management function at Aramco, the world’s largest and most profitable company, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing the company's transparency and response strategies in an evolving geopolitical landscape.

 

Previously, Sharan served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Operations to Canada’s Minister of Finance for five years, where she gained a profound understanding of global geopolitical issues.
